Firstly note we are watch dealers of distinction with over 50 years experience and two generations in the field of Horology. Here for your consideration today we offer this outstanding very early large chronograph from 1928 by Eberhard & Co. This watch is not for the novice it is for the professional watch collectors out there that understand the true profession and values of the vintage antique horology. On to the description and condition report. The case a very large case for the year of this watch measuring 38mm known as an oversize for the period, with single mono pusher, all set in a heavy solid 18ct yellow gold case. The case can only be described as pristine no wear or bad imperfections or unsightly dents. Even the pusher is good with nice clean edges. The dial again is a superb original white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, black sub seconds & register dials, red centre snail dial with red outer Telemetre  outer track, Blue steel Breguet hands with blue steel sweeping centre seconds chrono hand. Dial hands are in beautiful original condition. The movement, Eberhard’s own Calibre 17 jewel  manual wind movement column wheel chronograph running superbly, very healthy beat, keeping accurate time, all chronograph functions working and returning to the correct positions. This watch came from a private collection and I believe it has been serviced in recent times, although no paperwork to prove service, it is clear purely on inspection and the running of the watch on timegrapher the movement is clean. The watch comes with an Eberhard period box, also note this watch has been stored in the correct environment. My conclusion, simply a beautiful piece of horological history in time warp condition.  You would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition.  No it’s not a Patek at 60k, it’s an undeniably beautiful watch offered at an undeniably low price.
